What do you call it when an epic, sweeping film gets a 68 minute, direct-to-video sequel released 5 years after it was made/culturally relevant? You get Hunchback of Notre Dame II. Candace, Bri and Arezou are joined by Alice of Those Happy Places to discuss bad lessons, forgettable music, Quasimodo’s character regression and why the plot falls apart when Phoebus is simultaneously racist and yet absolutely correct in his assumptions.
