The movie
Show notes
Welcome to yet another fantastic listener-suggested episode! This week we'll take a look at what could be described as Civil Gore: The Movie! It's the remake of Herschell Gordon Lewis' classic 2000 MANIACS. In our FIRST CHOP, we strap on a collar bomb for true-crime terror in EVIL GENIUS, then go hiking with the folks from DESOLATION! We'll also pay tribute to Margot Kidder, and drop some cool news concerning a new Netflix anthology, and more SHARKNADO. Finally, Brian tells us all about SarahOfHorror's revenge flick SARGAD! Our DISCMEMBERMENT is full of surprises, from a super edition of a Wes Craven classic to a TREMORS 4-pack to jump start your sandworm collection! Then it's time to choose sides as the North and South go at it again! Some unlucky Northern kids have stumbled into Robert Englund's Confederate town...and the South has not forgotten! That's right, it's 2001 MANIACS, a fun (and gore) filled romp full of humor, horror, and (twisted) history! As usual we'll have our beer pairing and Six Degrees of Decapitation. Don't miss it! Thanks again to listener David for suggesting this movie! We love hearing from our fans!
