Show notes

This week The Blanchard Brothers take a look In the Mouth of Madness ... In this week's episode my brother (Gavin) and I (Noah) explore Carpenter's 1994 Lovecraftian mind-bender, In the Mouth of Madness. This is one of my personal favorites of his entire filmography, and some would argue the last unequivocally great Carpenter film. We discuss the obvious Lovecraft and King parallels, praise Sam Neil's borderline brilliant performance as John Trent, and of course wrap things up with our usual Recast / Remake Debate. *Note : We will return next week with Episode 15 - Village of the Damned, not Escape From LA as erroneously stated near the end of the cast* In the Mouth of Madness [Blu-ray] Starring Sam Neill, Julie Carmen, Jürgen Prochnow, David Warner, Saul Elkins Intro (Gunship's "Tech Noir" / John Carpenter's "Night") Outro ("Abyss" by John Carpenter) Dialogue Clips were sourced from the In the Mouth of Madness BluRay. *Episode Note: This episode was recorded prior to the launch of our 2nd podcast, The Movie Ark, so please forgive any "continuity errors" and hey, go listen rate review and subscribe to The Movie Ark!* Send Feedback: thearkofe@gmail.com Follow more from The Ark of E: On Instagram @thearkofenetwork ...on Twitter @thearkofe The Ark of E Network RT @ Mr_Sun_Shine : New @ SensesFail album is a beautiful balance of struggle and hopefulness.
