The Perennial Popularity of the Adventure Film is our topic on this edition of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site. We recall three adventure films in particular: Lost Horizon, King Solomon's Mines, and Valley of the Kings, We compare these films to later releases such as the Indiana Jones series. These earlier films are rooted in such things as best-selling literature, and the recurring theme of finding evidence to support religious faith. Adventure films have always been a favorite of American movie audiences for years, and in reviewing some of these great motion pictures, we hope to rekindle memories of some of your favorites. Our Retro-Commercial is for Colgate toothpaste. Come join us on Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site.
