The original deal Sandler inked $250 million with Netflix in 2014 to produce six films for the streaming service, with Hubie Halloween being #6. It was announced in Jan 2020, Sandler and Netflix extended their deal for 4 more movies. Plot: It opens at Westford State Mental Hospital with Hal from Happy Gilmore finding the psycho is on the loose. Cutting to Salem, we see Hubie biking through the town, being friendly, but everyone being a dick to him, throwing eggs at him. A slow motion viewing of Violet Valentine, sends Hubie flying over a car. Hubie is working at the meat counter, Mr. Landofla is called and calls him Pubie. Generally giving him shit, when, with the help fo the other employee, they jump scare Hubie with the lambs head in the meat case. Everyone laughs. Sgt Downy is watching videos in his cruiser, like all cops do, and he gets a call that Richard Hartman escaped the psych ward. Its revealed that Downy testified against him, when Hubie startles him, telling him the O'Doyle kid was buying a bunch TP. Hubie obviously is a worry wort as Downy tells him not to bother him, a gang of kids with scream masks chase after him, and he expertly dodges everything, including flaming dog shit. Hubie takes a tumble and they ride off with an "O'Doyle Rules"... Hubies new neighbor Walter Lambert helps him up, and so
