Content Warning: Discussions of suicide and more specifically the suicide epidemic in Japan and how it affects the themes of the film. Happy Halloween! This year we sit down with our longtime pal and all-around good friend Hazel as we dig into the 2001 cult J-horror classic "Pulse". We have a great time diving into the movie's themes and standout scenes, while also praising its craft and special place in the cultural zeitgeist of early 2000s Japan. This movie is REALLY good, guys! Hope you enjoy the episode as well and make sure to have a nice Halloween where you're at! We'll see you in the next one. Follow us on twitter!
