From the desk of Pete: "Hey do you remember that cute movie Stephen Spielberg did about the little flying robots. Man I haven't seen that in decades. I'll just pop it in and take a fun little trip down memory lane. wut..I...oh no...OH GAWD! I DON'T REMEMBER THIS BEING A SAD MOVIE! MAKE IT STOP! Charlie and Pete were ill-prepared for the emotional semitruck that *batteries not included turned into. From the first few minutes of the movie, the cozy childhood memories of the film were dashed to bits by an awareness that can only be brought on by the personal experiences from your passage through the years. It was shocking how a film can change so drastically from a different perspective. Friends, Spielberg wonderfully captures delight, magic and wonder in this adorable film while making it both very real and personal. Grab your kids, a big bowl of popcorn, maybe a big box of tissues and enjoy the hell out of this movie."
