The Holy Mountain was a 1973 surrealist cult film from Alejandro Jodorowsky, infamous for its shocking imagery, spiritual iconography, and total disregard for conventional storytelling. Revered by some, rejected by others, it’s a film designed less to be “understood” than experienced.
