Show notes
Denzel follows up the Oscar-winning "Fences" with a film based on a book, based on the journal of a fallen soldier. This time, though, he doesn't cast himself, and chooses to stay behind the camera. After three consensus hits, can Washington keep his directing streak alive? Or will the Grouches find this film lacking?
