The Wheel of Movies has spoken! This week: Funny Girl! Based on the Tony-nominated musical of the same name, Funny Girl features the film debut of singer/actress/renaissance-woman Barbra Streisand! Chronicling the life of early 20th-century comedienne Fanny Brice and her complicated romance with swindler Nicky Arnstein (Omar Sharif), Funny Girl perfectly recreates the experience of going to a musical theatre production on the big screen... for better or worse! Which parts of the movie work? Which don't? Does this young upstart Barbra Streisand have promise? Will the Wheel of Movies ever return? The answers to at least three of those questions on this week's episode of Classic Movies Live!
