CyberChrist on a bike! A second dip in to the Bargain Bin yields the 1992 virtual reality trip THE LAWNMOWER MAN , starring Pierce Brosnan and Jeff Fahey. Improbably named scientician Dr. Larry Angelo is using this latest technology to increase intelligence, and has the perfect subject in naïve, developmentally challenged stereotype Jobe Smith, a local lawnmower whose new-found powers quickly grow out of control. Murder chimps, shirtless diarising, inconsistent pronunciations of the word “Fahey”, and excessive evaluation of the world’s first cybersex scene: Gali, Devlin and Patrick are strapped in to their gyroscopes and ready to jack in to the neural net.
