Show notes

All four of our new movies are playing exclusively in theaters right now. That's new! And maybe ... not the best timing on that? Anyway, first we discuss Ron Howard's adaptation of J.D. Vance's memoir "Hillbilly Elegy." Then it's the Kate Winslet-Saoirse Ronan romance "Ammonite." And hey, wanna see Vince Vaughn play a teenage girl? Here's "Freaky." And then there's the Cannes hit "The Climb." Plenty! Timestamps (approximate): 13:17 "Hillbilly Elegy" 35:14 "Ammonite" 48:30 "Freaky" 1:10:11 "The Climb" Thanks to Dylan Mayer and My Friend Mary, both of which are wonderful, for the music. We hope you enjoy. Let us know what you think @griersonleitch on Twitter, or griersonleitch@gmail.com. As always, give us a review on iTunes with the name of a movie you'd like us to review, and we'll discuss it on a later podcast. Learn more about your ad choices.
