This film is a classic domestic melodrama that has inspired Bong Joon-ho, among others, and is one batshit crazy ride. From IMDb: A composer and his wife are thrown into turmoil when a housemaid becomes more than they bargained for. (Composer??? That's overstating it a little bit--Mac & me) This film has everything. It's a cautionary tale, a cinematographic masterpiece, high melodrama, and a film that includes the mention of more rats than the film THE DEPARTED. Oh, TW for rat death...and child death.
