The movie
Show notes
Host Eddie returns this week, hopefully recovered from his illness, and is eager to hear how the show fared in his absence! After a quick catch-up, the crew dives headfirst into Disney's latest live-action remake: 2025's Lilo & Stitch. Join Eddie, Spencer, Intern Manager Amy, and Intern Sarah as they grapple with the necessity of this update to a beloved 2-D animated masterpiece. They'll dissect the confusing changes, the restructuring of familiar characters, and share their overall reactions to a film that has left them with more questions than "Ohana." Was this a worthwhile experiment, or a case of "ain't broke, don't fix it"? Get ready for a lively discussion filled with nostalgia for the original, bewilderment at the remake's choices, and Eddie's triumphant return to the Filmlosophers' microphone! So pull up a chair, grab your popcorn, and tune in to this week's “Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride” of an episode of The Filmlosophers!
