On episode #340 of the COOLEST ALIVE, Jesse Blaze Snider revisits the outrageous comedy classic Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, starring the unstoppable Jim Carrey at the absolute height of his rubber-faced comedic powers. Whether he’s emerging from a mechanical rhino, solving the mystery of a sacred missing animal, or unleashing one of his legendary rapid-fire impressions, Carrey’s performance turned Ace Ventura into one of the most unforgettable comedy characters of the 1990s. Jesse celebrates the film’s fearless absurdity, its quotable moments, and the era when Carrey dominated the comedy box office with a style that was completely his own.
