The movie
Show notes
We hopped into the phone booth to see if 1989's Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure still holds up, or if it should be left to the sands of time. Turns out, a utopian future built entirely on the music of Wyld Stallyns is still a journey worth taking, even if the time travel mechanics make absolutely zero sense when you actually stop to think about them. We break down the bizarre reality of George Carlin playing it totally straight as Rufus, the undeniable cringe of Bill's dad marrying a girl half his age, and the chaotic alternate reality where Pauly Shore played Ted and Sean Penn played Bill. Grab a pudding snack and dial up 1989 with us. Love quoting old movies? Join the conversation LIVE every Thursday on YouTube!
