Shot on location in New Orleans, blaxploitation horror film J.D.'s Revenge was the introduction of two of the hardest working and respected Black actors in the business - Glynn Turman and Louis Gossett. Already established presences in lots of TV and film projects, J.D.'s Revenge gave them the opportunity to play leading roles.
