The movie
Show notes
In this episode of the show, we are continuing our exploration of obsession and stalking, aka Spring Clinging, as we are talking about the 1993 The Crush . Over the course of our conversation you will hear us talk about Alan Shapiro as a filmmaker, his attempt at meshing real life experience with Lolita , his writing acumen or lack thereof, and whether he knew what to do with Cary Elwes's acting prowess... or lack thereof. We also talk about the logistics of building carousels in the attic, how to distinguish bees from yellowjackets and whether the filmmakers asked anyone what forensic scientists actually do. Tune in and enjoy!
